Weather Alert September 29, 2022

Current Operating Status, Updated Sept. 29, 2022, 6 pm:
 
Despite the core of Hurricane Ian having exited Florida, there are still residual bands of significant wind and rain. Areas of localized flooding are contributing to the hazardous conditions across many portions of the state. As such, many of Blue Streak’s normal operations continue to be suspended.
 
  • Service remains suspended along the west coast of Florida, from Tampa south through Sarasota and Fort Myers. Additionally, service will also be suspended in the following markets Friday, 9/30: Lakeland, Orlando, Deland, Daytona, Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie, West Palm Beach, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Lake City, Gainesville and Ocala.
  • Service will be available tomorrow along the southeast coast of Florida, including the Ft Lauderdale and Miami markets
  • We are not running our intra-state line haul network in Florida tonight, Thursday, 9/29
  • We plan to resume our intra-state line haul network in Florida tomorrow night, Friday, 9/30 (This will not reach Sarasota/Ft. Myers)
  • We plan to have limited small parcel delivery service on Saturday, 10/1, in the Jacksonville and Orlando markets
