DRIVER ALERT: SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER
Kids everywhere are rejoicing that school is out, but this raises a safety alert for drivers. It means that there are more kids playing in the streets during the day and later into the night. It also means that there are more inexperienced drivers on the roads during these same hours, as teens take advantage of summer free time. Now is the time for drivers to be more vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
FUEL SURCHARGE TO DECREASE IN JUNE
Blue Streak’s fuel surcharge will decrease to 6.5% in June. Our fuel surcharge continues to be among the lowest in the region.
How it’s calculated: If the national average price of regular unleaded fuel* is above $1.79 during the last week of any given month, the surcharge will be in effect on the first day of the following month.
