FMA Lunch & Learn Meeting, Fort Lauderdale
The third meeting in the Florida Messenger Association (FMA) Lunch & Learn series was recently held at Bimini Boatyard in Ft. Lauderdale. As President of the FMA, Harold Boyett has taken a leading role in the Lunch & Learn series.
The purpose of the meetings is to get business owners in our industry together to share ideas and discuss best practices to help improve the service we offer to our customers. These meetings are held in the major markets around the State of Florida, including Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Miami. In each market, invitations are sent to local courier companies to participate in the discussion, especially to those companies that do not regularly participate in FMA events and discussions. Discussion topics are chosen that are relevant to current industry trends, and participants in each market have an opportunity to discuss the topic. Important points from the discussions are shared with couriers in other markets as the meetings are held in subsequent markets.
To emphasize the importance of these regional meetings, Harold has traveled around the state to attend each of the meetings. Harold and Blue Streak are committed to taking an active role in our industry as we strive to provide the highest level of service that Blue Streak customers have come to expect.
