HURRICANE DORIAN – UPDATE
Please be aware that Blue Streak continues to monitor and prepare for Hurricane Dorian. The latest advisory at 5pm shows that Hurricane Dorian is a Category 3 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 115 mph. It’s projected to hit somewhere along the south/central east coast of Florida, possibly Tuesday early morning, as a Category 4 hurricane.
We are actively reviewing at what point we may need to suspend operations. At this time, it appears service will be suspended on Tuesday and potentially Wednesday for markets along the east coast of Florida – from Ft Lauderdale to Jacksonville. While we can’t forecast exactly how far inland the impacts will be felt and operations impacted, there is a good chance service in metro Orlando will also be suspended.
We will continue issuing newsletter updates and using social media platforms to communicate our message accordingly.
